Lead-in story Link to heading
Mr. Flint sets up two small microphones in the corner of the classroom. “At the end of Klasse 5,” he says, “each of you stands here for a minute and says something true in English. Bullets, not full text.” Frida the fox sits at the back, taking imaginary notes. “Will you speak too?” Mia asks. Frida says, “Foxes don’t talk” — in perfect English.

Common pitfalls Link to heading
- Reading aloud word-for-word makes the talk flat. Bullets only.
- I am eleven years → ✗ — I am eleven OR I am eleven years old.
- Avoid generic claims (I have learned a lot) — give one concrete example instead.
